Sennheiser RS140 Balanced Wireless Headphones:

I enjoy listening to music while working around the house. However, I've learned that not every family member shares the same taste when it comes to music. So to keep the piece, I purchased a pair of wireless headphones.

Why Sennheiser?

Sennheiser is a well trusted name when it comes to audio equipment. I currently own a pair of Sennheiser hd555 and 595 headphones - both are awesome audiophile headphones. I know first had the kind of quality products Sennheiser produces. So, when I purchased a pair of Sennheisers RS140 Balanced Headphones. I found myself once again not being disappointed.

Sound:

I was concerned, like most by the sound quality that a pair of wireless headphones would deliver. Static- that's a big one! However after purchasing and using these headphones, I found that they deliver exceptional sound quality for wireless headphones. Yes, I have heard some static, although it depends on the frequency you have them set on. The RS140's have three available channels, by changing channels I was able to eliminate most to all interference.

I've found the sound quality and volume to be very even and consistent as I moved about my home. I am very pleased with the overall sound quality produced by these wireless headphones.

Attention: Do you suffer from hearing loss?

The RS140s have an adjustable right/left volume adjustment for optimum listening. The adjustable volume feature is great for those who have hearing difficulties. This feature allows the listener to adjust the volume for each ear-cup to suit their listening needs. This is a Great Feature !!!!!!!

Read how this one feature helped save my marriage.

NOTE: These are not audiophile grade headphones! These headphones are not intended for audiophile listening. The RS140s provide the user with more flexibility i.e. (movement, cordless) that is not found with standard non wireless headphones. If your an extreme audiophile, these are not the headphones for YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are just a few of the great features:

Comfort:

This is another of those areas of personal preference. I'm use to wearing larger headphones. Like I said before I currently own a pair of HD555's and 595s. I've been able to wear these headphones for hours without any discomfort.

Battery Life:

I've been very impressed with the RS140's battery life. I have used these headphones all day and not run out of a charge.

Overall, I have been extremely pleased with my Sennheiser RS140 Balanced Headphones. For the flexibility these cans provide me, I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend these headphones for anyone who is looking for a quality pair of wireless headphones.

What current customer have to say about their Sennheiser RS140 Headphones:

Amazon customer Review:

Steven,

The RS 140 is by far the best wireless headphone on the market. The hearing quality is exceptional. I am hard of hearing and turning up the TV only increases the volume, not the clarity. With the RS 140 the sound quality and discrimination is absolutely incredible. The electronic tuning (versus the manual tuning on the other models) is outstanding and is always in sync. The headphones itself are much more comfortable and fit over the ear to eliminate outside noise and make the sound quality even more superior. It is worth every cent of the difference between the less expensive models. I own the RS 120 and bought this one for another room. The RS 120 is good. The RS 140 is OUTSTANDING!
